Why enrolling?

The Faculty of Transport and Communications was founded in 1977. For the past 40 years, it has acquired the status of a leading educational and scientific institution in the area of transport and transport engineering and information and communication technologies. The educational process is implemented in line with Bologna principles within two departments and six courses. Curricula and programs in all three study cycles are of the 3 + 2 + 3 system and permanently upgraded and innovated in order to monitor the demands and needs of the modern traffic and communication system.

The process of education is conceiving so the students, besides theoretical, also receive practical knowledge in laboratory exercises, field research and compulsory professional practice. Older students have the opportunity to participate in the development of research and development projects as well as international programs of strategic interest for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Faculty of Traffic and Communications undertakes and supports all actions aimed at ensuring the mobility of teachers and students at the national and international level, establishing regional cooperation and inclusion in European educational and scientific research processes. At the same time, internally it is being built and improved with special care for the student standard, comfortable working environment and adequate equipment for the smooth implementation of the teaching-scientific process.

 

What after completing studies?

Faculty of Transport and Communications graduates, adherently to adequately completed cycle of studies, receive one of the following titles: Bachelor of Traffic and Communication Engineer, Master of Traffic and Communications, Traffic Engineer and Communications, PhD – Doctor of Technical Sciences.

Due to the significant study programs interdisciplinarity, our faculty members are profiled for a very wide range of activities that includes transport, transport engineering and information communication systems in the domain of management, technological planning and design, organization and economics. Our graduates are accepted in many countries of the world, and many have built remarkable careers and launched a successful business.

Employment opportunities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and surrounding countries are also numerous in public and private companies, in executive institutions at all levels, as well as in research, design and education institutions.
